Biography

La Bottega del Dipingitore by Scarcella Anthony was established in 2008, it is a complex pictorial path opened in the medieval village of Rocca San felice, in the province of Avellino. Visiting the ancient workshop of Maestro Scarcella, the senses, the emotions,

the dynamism and the contrast between their commissioning arousing strong feelings. Visitors walking among the works will take moments fled from the past, that of the artist are transposed into the present. Moments faded into nothingness, returning in the Symphony and in the magical essence of colours of his works.

The young artist was born in Geneva, Switzerland on October 1, 1984 by the Parents of a different culture, lives in Italy in a medieval village called Rocca San Felice, in the province of Avellino, he exhibited for the first time his works at the age of 16 years.
Already since one could guess being in front with a new reality in which you felt great interpretation in the field of painting and especially in chromatic composition, where the harmonic colour management on the hearts of fibrillary was critical,

and the great familiarity used on warm shades, did reiterate in every work a sense of remembrance of the past.
He graduated in 2003 at the ISA Istituto Statale d'Arte di Grottaminarda AV, then opened his own art studio in the country in which he lives, participating in numerous artistic events in surrounding areas.

In 2003 he won the competition “Premio Nazionale L’Inedito” city of Carife(AV) which artist who presented the work chosen for the pagination of the Original text.

In 2007 he decided to open his own art studio in the medieval village of his country under entitled: La Bottega Del Dipingitore, representing the magic of those landscapes now disrupted by new realities, and farmhouses, watermills movements, endless sunny sunsets, are according to the artist only a fantasy and a remote thought clearly shows where

the agony and triumphant happiness existed together with healthy values now forgotten today.
For these reasons, the artist will perform in the works of landscapes and nature, to portray and express moments of life lived.
What luster to his works, is not attributable either to the color as to fortitude, that transmits in everything we create, referring to those who were his predecessors in the field of Impressionism, taking in every detail "originality" of current it then, without altering the rules, with a modern twist.
In 2011 he travels to Geneva to visit his hometown, so fascinated by different cultures that inhabit multi-ethnic, decides to start a new artistic path visiting enchanting places reminiscent of his home where he lived, Annency, Yvoire and Montreux.
Fascinated participates in the artisans market makers in Geneva teaching painting in centers for the disabled.

But the warmth of the people of his country lacks too much to get it back. He lives in Rocca San Felice.
